Airport Information Services |
Airport Information Counters are located in each
terminal. General information and assistance, worldwide airport operating
conditions and weather updates are just a few of the technological and customer
service options available to all passengers. This complimentary service is
offered 24 hours a day in Terminals B, C and D and from 7:00 AM-11:00 PM in all

Automated Teller Machines (ATM) |
|
Currently, there are fifteen (15) Automated Teller Machine (ATM)
locations throughout the Airport. These locations are as follows:
- Terminal A-West: International Arrivals Hall and departures level between Travelex
and Duty Free
- Terminal A-East: Baggage claim and main terminal
- Terminal A/B Link: Currency one
- Terminal B: Main terminal and concourse at Gate B-8
- Terminal B/C: Baggage claim and food court
- Terminal C: Main terminal and concourse next to the food
court
- Terminal D: Main terminal and concourse next to Gate
D-5
- Terminal E: Main terminal

Check Cashing Facility |
Passengers and employees can utilize the many services
provided by Ace Cash Express, the check cashing facility located on the
passenger walkway between Terminals A and B. Current services include check
cashing, lottery tickets, faxing, and money orders.

Communication with Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Speech disabled
community |
Philadelphia International Airport has installed two
Interpretype® devices that provide a means of non-verbal, face to face
communication to connect the non-signing hearing community with the Deaf, Hard
of Hearing, and Speech disabled community. These two devices are located at the
Information Counters located at Terminal B (inside the security checkpoint) and
Terminal D (before the security checkpoint).

Duty Free Shops |
|
International Shoppes
offers duty-free merchandise to international passengers in Terminals A-West
and A-East. Passengers on non-stop international flights can purchase duty free
items such as liquor, cigarettes, perfume, and watches prior to boarding.

Elevators and Escalators |
|
Elevators and escalators
are available between the lower and upper levels in the ticketing and baggage
claim areas and in some concourse areas. Elevators are in each of the seven
terminals and parking garages. Braille signage and raised numbers identify
these services.

Flight and Gate Information |
Passengers can acquire flight arrival and departure
times as well as gate assignments by calling 1-800-PHL-GATE (1-800-745-4283),
or by visiting the Flight Info section of this
web site. The web site information can be sorted by airline, city or time.

Food, Beverage and Retail Program |
|
Philadelphia
International Airport and its master developer, MarketPlace/Redwood, have
rejuvenated the Airport with quality name-brand local and national products.
Passengers can now enjoy quality merchandise at competitive street pricing.
Vibrant mobile vending carts adorn the concourse areas of each terminal.
Additionally, joining the retail development throughout the Airport's seven
terminals is Philadelphia MarketPlace at the Airport. This is the
first time that an airport has taken an existing terminal and redesigned it
with such a level of passenger amenities. Philadelphia International Airport
continues to focus on the needs of our passengers and we are thrilled to
provide a variety of quality products and convenient services for our valued

Hospitality Program |
|
This program was
developed to assist stranded passengers during emergency and weather
situations. During such instances, passengers are provided with hotel and
ground transportation information as well as complimentary items such as
snacks, pillows, blankets, diapers, etc.

Language Assistance |
|
International travelers
can conveniently get language assistance anywhere in the Airport by calling the
Communications Center from any white Airport information telephone or by
speaking directly to a bilingual receptionist at the Passenger Assistance
Counter located at the exit to U.S. Customs in the Terminal A-West baggage
claim area.

Luggage Carts |
|
Luggage carts are
available throughout the Airport to assist passengers with their baggage for a
fee of $3.00, which can be paid for with credit cards.

Mail Facilities |
Self-service postal centers are located in on the A-B
walkway near Terminal A-East and on the C-D walkway near Terminal D. There are
FedEx drop boxes at these locations as well as in Terminal E. A UPS drop box is
located in at the self-service postal center on the C-D walkway. The UPS store
on the A-B walkway near Terminal B offers a variety of postal services.
Mailboxes are located in Terminal A-West near Gate A-17; in Terminal A-East
near Gate A-1; on the Terminal C/D Walkway near Terminal D; Terminal D
pre-security next to the Information Counter; Terminal E pre-security across
from the Information Counter; Terminal F near Gate F-10. Return to

Travelex |
|
Passengers are provided
with a number of services including: flight insurance, foreign currency
exchange, a public notary, global link phone cards and fax machines. Travelex
has locations in Terminal A-West, the International Arrivals Hall, Terminal
A-East, and Terminal D and can be reached by telephone at
215.365.8350.

Please Touch Aviation Station |
|
Ideal for children ages 1
to 7, the Aviation Play Station is located in Terminal D adjacent to Gate D-10
and in Terminal A-East near Gate A-1. The Aviation Play Station features
interactive displays specifically designed to introduce children to the
exciting world of aviation. Hands-on items include a jumbo-jet where children
can get inside to be both passengers and crewmember, and a smaller airplane
featuring hand controls where children can activate a spinning propeller. The
Aviation Play Station serves as a welcome refuge to passengers traveling with
children by not only serving as a play area, but as an educational tool as
well.

Accessible restrooms are
available throughout the main terminal area, in the concourse areas and baggage
claim. Additionally, some facilities are equipped with children's changing
tables. Family restrooms are also located throughout the Airport.

Telephones |
|
Public telephone banks
are located throughout the Airport complex and meet the Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA) height restrictions. Telephones with amplified volume
controls are standard to most telephones, and all phones are hearing-aid
compatible.

Telecommunications Devices for the Deaf (TDD Phones) |
|
Currently, there are 22
public TDD phones located throughout the Airport. Locator signs for the closest
TDD phones are positioned at each bank of telephones in the Airport.

Wireless Internet Access |
|
The Airport offers
wireless Internet access from more than 40 access points in the secure areas of
every terminal. A fee is required for wireless access from Monday thru Friday.
There are several purchase options available to customers, including a 24-hour
connection for $7.95 or a monthly unlimited option for $39.95.
College
students can access the Internet for free every day by presenting their student
ID at any Airport Information Counter and obtaining an authorization code for
Internet access. Wireless Internet access is free for everyone on weekends.

Workstations |
|
The Airport provides more
than 100 semi-private workstations throughout the boarding gate areas of all
terminals. These units consist of a pay telephone, outlets, worktable and
bench.
