Energy conservation has tremendous environmental and economic benefits. Reducing the consumption of electricity produced by burning fossil fuels reduces our dependence on non-renewable resources and reduces air emissions, including greenhouse gases (GHG), for which the Airport is responsible. Fewer emissions have health benefits to the community, and reducing energy use provides cost savings to the Airport.
