Between Terminals B and C

October 5, 2001 - April 17, 2002

Philadelphia artist Rain Harris creates clay vessels that are based on her profound interest in nature especially its organic symmetry, color palette, and ornamentation. The hand-built sculptures are like hybrid plants that have been meticulously cultivated into new and exotic forms. While Harris's objects are familiar with their naturalistic references, each sculpture appears to have evolved into its own unique species.
