Philadelphia Sculptors was founded in 1996 as a non-profit arts organization whose members are professional sculptors based in the Philadelphia area. Their mission is to promote contemporary sculpture by increasing public awareness of the role and value of sculpture through exhibitions, public programs, workshops, studio tours, and technical demonstrations.

Philadelphia Sculptors has over 130 members who work in a wide variety of styles and media from figurative to abstraction and bronze to paper. This exhibition features work by five members of Philadelphia Sculptors - Ann Chahbandour, Won Jung Choi, Lucartha Kohler, Barry Parker, and Elsa Johnson Tarantal. The selected sculpture exemplifies the breadth and artistic quality of the membership and Philadelphia’s talented sculptors.
