The Wood Turning Center, founded in 1976 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education, preservation, and promotion of the art of lathe turning. The Center is internationally recognized for its artist-in-residence program, research archives, and its collection of more than 300 lathe turned objects. Over the past twenty years, the Wood Turning Center has established one of the most important wood turning collections worldwide.
