TERMINAL D-E COMPLETION

This project consists of the completion of a Checked Baggage Inspection System (CBIS) for Terminals D and E, connection of the Terminals E and F concourses, and completion of ticket lobby renovations.  .  TSA testing and certification is planned for Spring 2016, with an initial operating date in August 2016.  Ticket counter and curb-side conveyors will be tied into the new CBIS in a phased sequence as renovations to the ticketing building are completed.

Connection of the Terminal E and F concourses will provide passengers the ability to travel the entire length of the Airport without having to exit security.  This significant enhancement is expected to open in April 2016.  Renovations in the Terminals D and E ticketing buildings will add ticket counter positions with larger queuing spaces and increased public circulation.  Currently, the center section of the Terminal D ticketing building is under renovation with a planned completion date of Summer 2016.  Upon its completion, Delta Air Lines will occupy these new spaces.  This move by Delta will free up the east end of the Terminal E ticketing building for the final phase of renovations.
