Prints from the Collection of the Brandywine Workshop, Philadelphia

Terminal F, Concourse 2

Brandywine Workshop, Philadelphia, is a nonprofit institution dedicated to the creation, promotion, and advancement of printmaking as a fine art form. Founded by Allan Edmunds in 1972, the workshop was established to create opportunities for culturally diverse artists in the visual arts and related art technologies.

Brandywine Workshop is renowned for its Visiting Artist Fellowship Program that invites artists from around the world to create limited edition fine art prints using a commercially-based process known as offset lithography. In collaboration with the master printer, artists are encouraged to use experimental and innovative techniques in order to advance the medium’s fine art potential.

This exhibition features selected prints that exemplify the collection’s ethnic diversity and wide aesthetic range.
