Eurhi Jones: A Garden For A Traveler

Terminal E

Philadelphia artist Eurhi Jones has created a brightly colored fantasy landscape made of fabric, sequins, and beads. Jones's highly stylized garden is based on her travels. She has seen many fascinating and unforgettable landscapes like the infinite flower fields in Tuscany and the tiered hedges in the Boboli Garden of Florence. She remembers the strictly pruned gardens of Paris, the silhouettes of trees atop the rolling hills of West Virginia, and the patterned squares of mid-western crops as seen from a plane. All of these memorable landscapes have been recreated into this imaginative and playful miniature garden made specifically for this exhibition.
