| Can I bring liquids in my
carry-ons? |
A.Liquids and gels
in containers 3 ounces or smaller are permitted in carry-ons. The containers
must be placed in clear plastic sealable bags size 1 quart or smaller and
presented for inspection at the security checkpoint. Plastic bags are limited
to one per passenger. Liquids and gels in containers larger than 3 ounces will
be confiscated at the checkpoint. Liquids and gels in containers larger than 3
ounces must be placed in checked luggage. Some exceptions are made for
prescription and over-the-counter medications, baby formula, breast milk, and

A.If you are in the
secure area, you can connect to any terminal - except Terminal E - without
having to go through security. If you are transiting between Terminal E and
another terminal, you must exit the secure area and re-enter through security
at the connecting terminal. NOTE: If you are transiting between
Terminal F and another terminal - except E - free shuttle bus service is
available at Gate C-16 for Terminals C,D and B and at Gate A-1 for Terminals
A-East and A-West.

| A.The Airport does
not offer "Fear of Flying" classes. There are a number of online teleseminars

| Q. Are there facilities for passengers with
disabilities? |
|
A. PHL has a
variety of accessible services and facilities that are available to travelers
with disabilities. Elevators and escalators are available throughout the
Airport's Terminals and parking garages. Elevators have Braille signage and
raised numbers. Accessible restrooms are located throughout the airport. These
restrooms are identified by the International Symbol of Accessibility. Public
telephone banks located in the Airport are compliant with ADA (Americans with
Disabilities Act) height restrictions to facilitate use by individuals in
wheelchairs. In addition, PHL currently has twenty two (22) Telecommunications
Devices for the Deaf (TDD Phones) in various terminals. Directional signage to
the nearest TDD phone area is located at selected telephone banks. Automated
Teller Machines (ATMs) with Braille instructions are located in each terminal.
For parking, passenger pick-up and drop-off,
all access routes have curb cuts to facilitate entering and leaving the
terminal. Designated handicapped parking spaces are also available in all of
the Airport parking areas. Economy Lot shuttle buses are wheelchair

| Q. What are my parking options at the
Airport? |
|
A. Parking is
available in the garages (A-East, A-West, B, C, D, E and F hourly and long-term
parking) and at the Economy Parking Lot (daily and long-term parking) located
at the far east end of the Airport. The garages and Economy Lot can be accessed
by following the Arriving Flights Roadway. Garage parking is restricted to
vehicles not exceeding 6 feet in height. Vehicles exceeding the height limit
must park in the Economy Lot. Parking rates can be found in the
Directions and Parking section of this website.
Most major credit cards are accepted at the toll booths in the garages and
Economy Lot. If assistance is needed in any of the parking facilities, the
Philadelphia Parking Authority can be contacted from courtesy phones.

available in the Airport? |
A. MarketPlace
Redwood, L.P., manages the Airport's food, beverage and retail program,
providing national and local Philadelphia products at competitive street
prices. Gift shops/newsstands are located in each of the Airport's seven
terminals. Philadelphia MarketPlace at the Airport, located in Terminal B/C
connector, offers a wide variety of dining selections as well as numerous
retail stores. For international passengers leaving the country, duty free
merchandise can be purchased at International Shoppes located in Terminals

job opportunities at the Airport with the City of Philadelphia, airlines,
Transportation Security Administration, shops and eating establishments. Jobs

A. The PennDOT
Park & Ride Lot on Bartram Avenue provides a waiting area for motorists
coming to the Airport to pick up someone. Directions to the lot are available
on the Airport's website in the Directions & Parking section. Motorists
must remain in their vehicles while waiting for notification that their party
is ready to be picked up. NOTE: It is illegal to park along the Airport's
access roads. Illegally parked cars will be ticketed. Motorists are encouraged
to use the Park & Ride lot, which is free, safe and convenient.

| Q. How early should I arrive prior to my
flight? |
A. Passengers
should arrive at the Airport at least one hour before the scheduled departure
of a domestic flight and two hours prior to the scheduled departure of an

gate? |
A. Only passengers
with tickets to travel on that day are permitted past security checkpoints to
the gate areas. Those wishing to meet someone in the terminal building can wait
in the areas just before the checkpoints, or meet in the baggage claim areas.

which is accessed via the Terminal B pedestrian bridge, has data ports
available for public use. America's Cash Express on the A/B Connector offers

offers computers with Internet access, as well as other business

downtown Philadelphia? |
|
A.The SEPTA R-1
Airport rail line runs every 30 minutes between the Airport and Center City.
Trains operate from Center City to the Airport between 4:25 AM and 11:25 PM,
and from the Airport to Center City from 5:09 AM to 12:09 AM. The R-1 stops at
Terminals A-East, B, C, D, E. Other stops on the route are Eastwick, University
City, 30th Street (Amtrak), Suburban and Market East. Fare is $7.00 one way.
Connections can be made to other regional rail lines for an additional fee at
30th Street, Suburban and Market East.

| Q. Does the Airport offer Wireless Internet
access? |
|
A.The Airport
offers wireless Internet access from more than 40 access points in the secure
areas of every terminal. A fee is required for wireless access from Monday thru
Friday. There are several purchase options available to customers, including a
24-hour connection for $7.95 or a monthly unlimited option for
$39.95.
College students can access the Internet for free every day by
presenting their student ID at any Airport Information Counter and obtaining an
authorization code for Internet access. Wireless Internet access is free for
everyone on weekends.
