  1. With more than 535,000 take-offs and landings in 2005, PHL was the 9th busiest airport in the world.
  2. PHL handled 31.5 million passengers in 2005, more than 3 times the number of adults and young adults living in the state of Pennsylvania.
  3. PHL averaged more than 86,000 passengers daily in 2005, almost double the capacity of Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies.
  4. PHL moved more than 600,000 tons of cargo and air mail in 2005, nearly 4,000 times the weight of the Statue of Liberty.
  5. PHL's seven terminals, occupying 2,415,000 square feet, are nearly four times the size of Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles.
