Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) Flight Guide won a second-place award
in the Airports Council International - North America 2005 Excellence in
Marketing & Communications Contest. The colorful, informative brochure was
a repeat winner in the intensely competitive contest in which 54 airports in
the United States and Canada submitted 270 individual entries in a variety of
categories.
"Congratulations to the Airport for this outstanding
achievement," said Mayor John F. Street. "This recognition is a tribute to the
Airport's efforts in facilitating the trips of more than 31 million travelers
through Philadelphia International Airport during Fiscal Year 2005."

flights to and from PHL as well as some connecting flights. It also contains
important telephone numbers; an airline directory; information on parking,
rental cars and ground transportation; important information for travelers with
disabilities; an Airport map; and a guide to passenger services, food, beverage
and retail operations.
"The Flight Guide is a handy tool for anyone
using the Airport, especially those travelers who may be unfamiliar with PHL,"
said Charles J. Isdell, the City's Director of Aviation. "Traveling through an
airport can be a daunting experience. By taking advantage of the wealth of
information contained in this complimentary booklet, our customers can enjoy an
optimal airport experience."
