The Airport provides a Cell Phone Waiting Lot located on Airport property less than a one-minute drive to the baggage claim area. The Lot features spaces for 150 vehicles, bright lighting, and flight information displays. To reach the Cell Phone Waiting Lot, enter the Airport on the Arriving Flights roadway and follow the signs to the Cell Phone Waiting Lot.
Before leaving for the Airport to pick up your party, be sure you have the following information: Airline, flight number, terminal, time of arrival and designated meeting place. Motorists coming to the Airport to pick up passengers should check the status of their party's flight prior to leaving for the Airport by contacting the airline directly, calling the Airport's toll-free flight information number (800-PHL-GATE) or consulting the Airport's or the airline's Web sites. Arriving passengers can be met in a number of locations throughout the Airport: On the Arriving Flights roadway, in the bag claim area or on the public side of the exit lanes located near the security checkpoints. Parking is available in the garages near the bag claim areas. For brief visits of less than 30 minutes, motorists picking up passengers may also wait with their vehicles in the Cell Phone Waiting Lot, which is less than a one-minute drive to the bag claim areas. Stopping in front of the terminals is for active loading only. Passengers must be waiting at curbside with their bags and ready to be picked up. Note: Passengers arriving at Terminal F can be met on the Arriving Flights roadway at Terminal D/E bag claim.
If you wish to wait for your party inside the Airport, you must park in either the short-term parking area or parking garage. Enter the Airport using the Arriving Flights roadway. For garage parking, bear to the left and follow the signs to parking; for short-term parking stay to the right and follow the signs to short-term parking. International passengers arriving on overseas flights will arrive in the Terminal A-West International Arrivals Hall. If you wish to wait for your party in the Arrivals Hall, take the elevator in the parking garage or short-term lot to the 3rd level and proceed inside the Hall. NOTE: Check the terminal at which your party's flight is arriving; some international passengers, do not deplane at the International Arrivals Hall.
Passengers arriving at Terminal F can be picked up on the Arrivals Road outside Terminal E. If you wish to meet your party at Terminal F, park in the E/F garage or E/F short-term parking lot, take the elevator to the 2nd floor and take the E pedestrian bridge over to Terminal F. Note: The Terminal F baggage claim has been temporarily re-located to D/E baggage claim. The Garage F pedestrian bridge is closed. Way finding signs are posted to direct foot traffic to the Garage E pedestrian bridge to access the E/F Garage from Terminal F and to access Terminal F from the E/F Garage.
Remember that only individuals with boarding passes to travel that day are permitted past the security checkpoint. Those who wish to meet arriving passengers in the terminal may wait in the area outside the security checkpoint.
