Severe weather, from summer’s thunderstorms to winter’s blizzards, can alter travel plans. Even when it is sunny in Philadelphia, weather events in other destinations can cause flight delays and cancellations at PHL. Aircraft mechanical and crew issues can also impact travel. Passengers should always check with their airlines for the most recent flight updates. Airline contact information can be found here.
PHL’s hospitality program is in place to make travelers as comfortable as possible, especially when they have to spend more time than expected at the airport.
