Did you ever get to the airport with your small children and think it would be great to have an extra set of hands getting from the curb to your gate? On a layover alone, wouldn’t it be nice to have someone watch your bags while you freshened up or grabbed a quick bite to eat? Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) passengers can now hire a SkySquad personal assistant for help with a variety of tasks, from getting through security to ordering food or just navigating the airport.
SkySquad is part of the PHL Food & Shops concessions program. “We are always looking for ways to improve the airport experience for our passengers,” said Megan O’Connell, Marketing and Customer Service Manager of MarketPlace PHL. “The packages and à la carte services SkySquad offers can help make our guests’ journeys through the airport, whether they are arriving or departing, less hectic.”
PHL is the sixth airport in the U.S. to partner with SkySquad. The company’s dedicated onsite assistants can help with passengers’ arrivals at the airport, a layover, and departure, either by plane or car. Guests can choose from four packages, starting at $49 for one hour, with options for families and solo travelers. Gift cards for two hours of concierge service are also available. SkySquad has also partnered with AtYourGate, PHL Food & Shops’ in-airport food and retail delivery service, to provide customers with the ability to get what they need delivered to their gate.
“AtYourGate has been increasingly popular with our guests since launching last fall,” said O’Connell. “The partnership with SkySquad adds another layer of convenience for our passengers.”
