DNC Departure

The Democratic National Convention is in Philadelphia through Thursday, July 28.

The busiest departure day will be Friday, July 29. Please be sure to allow sufficient time to travel to the Airport, check in for your flight and go through security screening. The TSA usually recommends arriving at the Airport at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure of a domestic flight. On the busy convention departure day, the Airport strongly recommends allowing extra time for checking in and security screening.

The TSA security checkpoint and TSA Pre-Check hours of operation can be found here

Note: American Airlines operates flights at 5 terminals at PHL. Please check your departure terminal and gate before you arrive at the Airport if you are flying on American Airlines.

Once through security screening, all terminals and gates are accessible. American Airlines operates shuttle buses between Terminal F – Terminal C and Terminal F – Terminal A-East/West.
