Employees Honored with the Department’s Top Recognition

Employees from the Department of Aviation came together on Monday, February 10, to celebrate their fellow co-workers for the annual P.R.I.D.E. Awards ceremony. Employees who retired in 2024 were also acknowledged, along with others who achieved 15, 25, and 35 years of service with the City of Philadelphia.

"Our airports are full of many unsung heroes who work tirelessly – often with little acknowledgement. It is important that we all take time out each day to express our gratitude to others. These individuals exemplify the values that help the Department of Aviation fulfill its mission of proudly connecting Philadelphia with the world," said CEO Atif Saeed. "Employee recognition improves motivation, encourages stronger teams and helps retain top talent. And retaining good talent is important to the health of our organization."
