In her nomination of Rudd, Douglas stated, “Arthur Rudd of Parkway Corporation ensures that the Ground Transportation/Information Counters in the Baggage Claim areas are clean and organized. He also does the same for the Parkway Offices and exterior Ground Transportation Booths. I have observed Arthur Rudd on numerous occasions proactively assisting guests in Terminal A-East Baggage Claim while he is working. I have watched him go above and beyond his regular duties by getting behind the counter to proactively ask guests if they need assistance. He answers their questions accurately and in a courteous manner. Arthur Rudd has an upbeat personality that puts his colleagues and airport guests at ease. His professionalism goes well beyond his day-to-day responsibilities because of his keen awareness and ability to provide excellent customer service in the midst of accomplishing his daily tasks."
Rudd counts receiving this award as his most memorable moment at the airport. He enjoys interacting with guests and creating a welcoming environment.
“My biggest mentor is Charles Newkirk,” said Rudd of Parkway Corporation’s Assistant Vice President. “He’s definitely one that guides me. I thank Leah Douglas for nominating me for this award. I would also like to thank the Parkway team, Shadonna Truitt, Hope Davis and Ashley Cebollero for always supporting me.”
