ROCKY LOOK-ALIKE CONTEST

Yo! Do you embody Rocky Balboa? Do you prefer drinking raw eggs to coffee? Do you run through Philadelphia’s Italian Market and up the Art Museum’s steps for fun?

If you answered yes, Philadelphia International Airport is looking for you.  Join PHL at 11:15 am on Friday, November 21, 2025, for our Rocky lookalike contest, following the unveiling of PHL’s Rocky statue at 10:30 am in Terminal A-West between gates A15 and A16.

We’re looking for the champion of the Philadelphia region’s Rocky Balboas. The contest will be judged by Catherine Ott Lovell, President and CEO of the Philadelphia Visitor Center, Frank “Frankie” Oliveri, owner of Pat’s King of Steaks, and Bill Doran, superintendent of Laurel Hill Cemetery and judged by top Rocky impersonator Mike Kunda. The winner will receive an Italian Stallion robe, fedora and Rocky sweatshirt from the Philadelphia Visitor Center’s official Rocky shop.

Registration ends on November 19. All participants must register for a PHL Wingmate Pass one-to-seven days prior to the contest to enter the airport. For more information on the Wingmate Pass Program, click here.
