Shirley Dash, Director of IT Operations

Shirley Dash is the Director of IT Operations at PHL/PNE. In this role, Ms. Dash is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, technology evaluations and selections, implementation, delivery, and assessment of the airport's technology infrastructure systems and services. Airport-wide technology including data centers, voice/telecom services, wired and wireless networks, on-premises and cloud server environments are under her direction.

Ms. Dash has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry with expertise across sectors such as local government, healthcare, education, training and the non-profit sector. Prior to joining PHL, Ms. Dash served as the Manager of IT Services & Product Experience with the City of Philadelphia's Office of Innovation and Technology (OIT).

Ms. Dash received her Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Peirce College, and a Master's in Information Systems from Drexel University. Ms. Dash is also an Adjunct Professor teaching Information Technology courses at Peirce College. Apart from her professional and community engagements, Shirley is a dedicated supporter of Philadelphia’s sports teams, especially the Philadelphia Eagles, often expressing her support via radio, television, and social media.
