Capital Improvement Program:

PHL has undergone more than $2 billion in capital improvements since 2000.

 

Major Construction Projects (Airfield):

-Taxiway K Reconstruction: Two phased project totaling $82 million (phase 1 in construction, phase 2 upcoming) 

- Remain Overnight Parking (RON) Apron: $40 million (in construction) 

- Taxiway P Realignment: $39.4 million (in design) 

- Philadelphia Northeast Airport Runway 6-24 Reconstruction: Three phase $37 million project (phases 1 & 2 substantially complete, phase 3 upcoming Spring 2021) 

- East Airfield Improvements: Substantially completed $30 million rehabilitation project

- Tinicum Island Road Relocation: $21 million (in design)

- Maintenance Facility & Salt Dome: $20 million. Salt dome complete, Pavement & Grounds Building upcoming Spring 2021 

 

Major Construction Projects (Terminal):

- Loading Bridge Replacement and Dreamliner Upgrades: $43 million consisting of two phases to include Dreamliner upgrades (phase 1 complete, phase 2 substantially complete)
