PHILLYCAM: PHILADELPHIA COMMUNITY ACCESS MEDIA

May 30, 2019 -Feb 17, 2020

PhillyCAM is a community media center that operates Philadelphia’s public access television channel. With nearly 1000 members, PhillyCAM brings people together to make and share media that promotes creative expression, democratic values, and civic participation.

PhillyCAM is the non-profit membership organization designated by the City of Philadelphia to operate its public access television station.

PhillyCAM offers access to video production training, free access to HD TV and audio/radio studios and equipment, media production support for non-profits, youth programs, meeting space, networking events and distribution of hyper-local content on cable television and FM radio. Anyone who lives in the Philadelphia region can have free to low cost access to video and audio production training and distribute their non-commercial content on our platforms.

PhillyCAM’s Youth Media is a hub for young makers where young people, mentors, and institutions from across the city collaborate, create, and discover ways to use media for social change.
