American Airlines, in partnership with Landline, will launch a new route connecting Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN) to Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) on September 22, 2025. The route will operate three times daily on Landline’s luxury motorcoaches, providing passengers with a seamless and convenient connection to American Airlines’ global network.
This new route expands Landline’s existing service from PHL to the following regional airports:
· Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE)
· Atlantic City International Airport (ACY)
· Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport (AVP)
· Wilmington Airport (ILG)
The Landlines integrated system allows passengers to book trips directly through American Airlines, as they would a regular flight. Check in at their origin airport, pass through TSA screening, and have their checked bags automatically transferred to their final destination. Upon arrival at PHL, travelers are dropped off airside at Terminal F and allowed to proceed directly to their connecting flights without additional security screening. This same streamlined process applies to returning passengers.
Since launching in June 2022, Landline has transported more than 328,000 passengers. Currently, the company operates 19 daily trips from four regional airports. The service offers a time-efficient bus alternative to short-haul flights under 200 miles.
“With the addition of the Trenton-Mercer Airport route, PHL continues to enhance regional connectivity and air travel,” said Assistant Director for Air Service Development and Cargo Services Nicole Maddox. “By integrating ground transportation into the air travel network, the American Airlines and Landline partnership delivers a smarter, more sustainable, and more efficient experience for passengers.”
