Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) welcomes approximately 2,000 members of the airport and aviation industries to Philadelphia for the Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA) 2026 Annual Conference and Exhibition. PHL is proud to serve as host airport for ACI-NA’s largest conference of the year.
From the moment attendees touch down at PHL, they will be immersed in the spirit of the city. From window decorations on pedestrian bridges to town criers, “Ben Franklin,” “Betsy Ross” and a fife and drum corps in baggage claims, ACI-NA members will have a taste of Philadelphia’s history before departing the airport—and have the opportunity to send uniquely Philly postcards home when they visit special postcard stations.
The conference will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Center City Philadelphia. During the meetings, PHL employee ambassadors will be on hand to answer questions, direct attendees around the Convention Center and offer suggestions for things to do and see while visiting Philadelphia. “Industry leaders from across North America will discuss top issues and trends impacting airports today throughout the conference. Several of our own PHL team members will also present during the sessions,” said PHL Interim CEO Tracy Borda. “We will also have a special booth to welcome guests at the Convention Center and our team will be available to offer itinerary ideas.”
Mayor Cherelle L. Parker will give an official greeting from Philadelphia during the opening general session on September 15, and the conference will wrap up with a celebration at the iconic Reading Terminal Market on September 17. Before heading out of PHL, guests experience the sounds of Philadelphia with musical performances in the terminals and take home a custom poem by Dream Poet for Hire Marshall Kavanaugh.
“This is the perfect year for PHL to be the host airport for the ACI-NA Annual Conference, and we can’t wait to show our guests how special Philadelphia is,” said Borda. “Of course, we are only giving a taste of Philly, because we want them to come back and visit after the conference is over.”
