PHILADELPHIA- Travelers at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) heading to the Pacific Northwest will have another option next year: Alaska Airlines will launch daily service to Portland, Oregon, beginning May 13. The seasonal service to Portland International Airport (PDX), slated for May 13-October 2, 2026, will be Alaska’s third flight at PHL. The airline currently offers year-round flights to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), including twice a day seasonally.
“We are excited for this seasonal expansion, coming just in time for all of the events coming to Philadelphia next summer,” said Chief Commercial Officer Kate Sullivan. “Additionally, Alaska Airline’s PHL-PDX service offers even more choices for passengers looking to travel from Philadelphia throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. The airline currently has 62 destinations from Portland to locations including Hawaii and Alaska.”
“We’re excited to connect the City of Brotherly Love to the Rose City with nonstop service starting late next spring. Philadelphia and Portland are two incredible destinations filled with amazing culture, cuisine and history that our guests can explore to their heart’s content,” said Kirsten Amrine, vice president of revenue management and network planning at Alaska Airlines.
