Ready for a Spring Adventure? Check Out New Service to CHO, CHA and DAB from PHL

Winter is finally over—time to plan outdoor activities. New service taking flight at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) in April gives guests the opportunity to visit somewhere new.

American Airlines will offer daily nonstop service to Charlottesville, Va. (CHO), beginning April 4, and six-times-a-week nonstop service to Daytona Beach, Fl. (DAB), starting April 5.  Spirit will add daily nonstop service to Charleston, SC (CHA), to its PHL roster on April 5.

  • In addition to being home to the University of Virginia, the Charlottesville-area has more than 40 wineries and is a short drive to Shenandoah National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
  • Daytona is known for its beaches, but the region also offers visitors opportunities to scuba dive off of an artificial reef system, golf, take an eco-tour and hike and bike in along many trails and in state parks.
  • Charleston also offers a variety of watersports, boating, fishing, and outdoor activities for visitors of all ages.

Flight options for these and all routes offered by PHL’s airline partners is available on the Where We Fly tool on the phl.org homepage.
