Help Wanted: PHL Food & Shops Hosts Job Fair at Airport Marriott

Guests traveling through Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) will notice the variety of open retail and dining options in all terminals. As more people return to air travel, PHL Food & Shops merchants are reopening and extending their hours of operation to serve the airport’s guests. In order to meet the increased passenger demand, many concessionaires are hiring. To help job seekers learn more about these openings, airport merchants will participate in the PHL Food & Shops job fair at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott on October 19 from 10 a.m. -1 p.m.

“Not only are we are heading into the busy holiday season, but with travel restrictions easing, we expect passenger volume to grow steadily in the new year,” said Megan O’Connell, PHL Food & Shops Marketing and Customer Service Manager. “The concessionaires participating in the job fair have openings at all experience levels that they need to fill to be able to meet the requirements increased passenger volume will bring.”

The PHL Food & Shops job fair will give applicants access to merchants to learn more about current opportunities, apply for jobs and participate in on-the-spot “speed interviews”.

Positions are currently available for shops and restaurants including L'Occitane, Tumi, Sunglass Hut, La Colombe, Geno’s and Dunkin’.

Employment incentives include:

  • Sign-on bonuses
  • Employee referral bonuses
  • Extended employee discounts
  • Easy access to public transit (SEPTA Regional Rail and bus routes 37, 108 and 115)

The PHL Food & Shops’ job fair is intended to fill open positions at the stores and restaurants within the airport. The event is free and pre-registration is not required. Applicants must bring a copy of their resume for entrance and should bring additional copies to distribute to employers on-site. The Marriott is located at One Arrivals Road, Terminal B, Philadelphia, PA 19153 — directly across from the SEPTA Airport Line Terminal B station stop. Reduced parking at the Marriott is also available for job fair attendees.  All participants must wear face masks.
