Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is beginning construction on the Terminal C Parking Garage. Construction will be conducted in phases to provide as minimal disruption to passengers as possible. The project is starting on the garage’s roof, affecting approximately 350 parking spots. Levels in the 1,800-spot garage will close as renovations progress and will reopen as work is completed. The project will be completed in fall 2026.
“The garage is about 50 years old and in need of a variety of repairs that will improve the facility for all of our guests,” said PHL Chief Commercial Officer Kate Sullivan. “By taking a phased approach now, we will be able to keep portions of the garage open throughout the project rather than close the entire garage for an extended period of time.”
The project scope of work includes:
- Concrete repair
- Expansion joint replacement
- Waterproofing
- Refresh paint/signs
- Floor drain replacement
PHL has more than 16,000 total parking spaces in its garages and economy lot. Travelers should anticipate minor impacts to parking at the airport due to the Garage C construction
“We do advise guests to allow some extra time to find available parking, especially during busier travel periods,” said Sullivan. “We also encourage guests to take advantage of our PHL Reserve parking program and make a reservation for our valet program, the economy lot or garages. Reservations can be made prior to travel through parking.phl.org.
Garage C parking availability can be found on the phl.org home page.
