PHILADELPHIA– Have you been conditionally approved for U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Global Entry, but haven’t been able to schedule the interview appointment? If you are traveling through Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) between December 9-20, you are in line for an early holiday present.
PHL and U.S. Customs and Border Protection are partnering for a Global Entry pop-up enrollment center in PHL’s Tour Room on December 9-13 and 16-19, from 5-9 p.m., and December 20 from 6-9 p.m. The Tour Room is located in the connector between Terminals C and D. Guests do not need to schedule an appointment with CBP.
The blitz is open to ticketed travelers and Wingmate Guest pass holders who have been conditionally approved through the Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) and are waiting for an interview appointment, but do need to bring two forms of identification, including a valid US passport. For more information on how to obtain a Wingmate pass, visit phl.org/wingmate.
CBP’s Global Entry program allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Members enter through automatic kiosks at select airports, including PHL.
Global Entry offers international travelers a variety of benefits, including:
- No processing lines
- No paperwork
- Access to expedited entry
- Available at major U.S. airports
- Reduced wait times
Global Entry is valid for five years and includes TSA PreCheck. For more information, visit cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry.
