Lynne Perry, a resident engineer in the City of Philadelphia's Division of Aviation Capital Development Group, will be honored by the Women Builders Council (WBC) as one of the organization's 2021 Outstanding Women. Perry has been with the airport for more than 15 years, starting out as a contract administrator in 2006. Among the many high-profile projects Perry has been involved with are the D/E Terminal Expansion, Service Animal Relief Areas, Engine 78 renovations, and Terminal E and Terminal B/C Core Roof projects.

“Lynne is a valued member of the Division of Aviation’s Capital Development team due to all her years of hard work and leadership,” said Api Appulingam, Deputy Director of Aviation- Capital Development. “She is a role model for many, especially women in male dominated industries.”

Perry will receive her award at WBC’s Annual Champion Awards Red Tie Reception on September 23, 2021. The event recognizes those who, like Perry, inspire change in diversity, inclusion, and equality within the construction industry.
