SEPTA Airport Line Service Update for Southwest Connection Improvement Program

SEPTA’s Southwest Connection Improvement Program (SCIP) will take place Saturday, July 22 through Saturday, August 26, 2023. Service on the Airport Regional Rail Line will be impacted during this improvement project.

On weekends, shuttle buses will operate in place of trains between PHL and William H. Gray III 30th Street Station. Buses will not stop at Penn Medicine Station.  Passengers traveling further by train can transfer at 30th Street. Look for temporary shuttle bus boarding signs and SEPTA ambassadors for assistance.

On weekdays, trains will operate hourly between PHL and the lower level of 30th Street. Trains will not stop at Penn Medicine Station and there will be no direct Airport Line service to or from Suburban, Jefferson and Temple University Stations. Regional Rail lines will arrive at the upper level of 30th Street and passengers will need to walk to the lower level to continue their trips to PHL. Passengers of other Regional Rail lines are advised to check those schedules for timely connection times to and from the Airport Line.

The special Airport Line schedule, shuttle bus details and project information is available on SEPTA's website. For more information, call 215-580-7800.
