American Airlines to Add Service to Bozeman, MT from PHL

PHILADELPHIA – American Airlines has announced that it will begin seasonal Saturday service from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to Bozeman, Montana (BZN) beginning June 6, 2020, marking the first non-stop flights between Philadelphia and the Big Sky Country.

American, the largest airline at PHL, will operate the flights on Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

“Montana is beautiful and Bozeman is a portal to a national treasure, Yellowstone National Park,” said PHL Airport CEO Chellie Cameron. “We are excited that American is opening another convenient path between Philadelphia and popular destinations here and abroad.”

Bozeman is the 8th domestic destination that American has added or announced in 2019. This year, American has launched non-stop service from PHL to Sarasota, Key West and Melbourne, Florida as well as Asheville, N.C., and Chattanooga, TN. All the destinations, except Sarasota, are served only by American from PHL. Bentonville, Arkansas will be added in September and Vail, Colorado in December to American’s non-stop network from PHL.
In addition, American launched non-stop international service from PHL this year to Edinburgh, Berlin, Bologna and Dubrovnik and has announced it will begin service in 2020 to Casablanca and Reykjavik.

“National parks are a major summertime attraction for many families,” said Jim Moses, American Airlines Vice President of PHL Operations. “American’s new seasonal service to Bozeman, Montana will provide customers in Philadelphia and across the East Coast a fast, easy connection to some of the country’s most well-renowned natural treasures.”

The weekly service runs from June 6 to September 5.
