PHL is proud of the commitment its partners have made to the Greater Philadelphia region. Over the last month, MarketPlace PHL and the PHL Food & Shops have donated more than 6,000 pounds of food to the Philabundance member network. Food is picked up from the Airport and taken directly to agencies to help those in need as quickly as possible. The recent donations have helped agencies in Chester, PA and Camden, NJ.

Since March 2019, MarketPlace and PHL Food & Shops has partnered with Philabundance in to implement a program that rescues food from PHL Food & Shop merchants for redistribution to various agencies and neighborhoods in the Greater Philadelphia region. Last year, this program resulted in more than 25,000 pounds of food (over 21,400 meals) donated to those experiencing food insecurity throughout Greater Philadelphia.
