Reimagining parking at PHL garages A and B

Your trip begins long before you reach the gate. It starts the moment you pull into Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). In those moments, the last thing you want is to circle endlessly looking for a parking spot. That’s why we’ve reimagined parking in garages A and B to make the start of your journey smoother than ever.

With PHL’s new Automated Parking Guidance System (APGS) finding a space has never been easier. Overhead lights guide the way—green for open, red for full, blue for accessible—helping you navigate the garage smoothly and smart monitoring and CCTV coverage making parking more secure. It’s a small change with a big impact, setting the tone for a calmer, more connected start to every trip.

This project operated under a highly aggressive timeline, and its success was made possible only through the unified e ort of everyone involved—PHL Chief Development Officer and team, the Commercial Parking team, the designer, the vendor, and the contractor—working together as one coordinated unit. By turning urgency into focused momentum, we delivered a project we can all be proud of.
