Whether you use a cane, walker, manual or power wheelchair, or scooter, PHL is here to support your journey. You may use your personal mobility device throughout the terminal until boarding. Airlines are responsible for gate-checking or onboard storage in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. If you're traveling with a powered mobility device, notify your airline in advance about your battery type (wet, dry, or non-spillable). When possible, airlines must accommodate onboard stowage based on the device's size and weight
For more information about mobility device handling, damage compensation, and other traveler protections, review the U.S. Department of Transportation's Airline Passengers with Disabilities Bill of Rights.
