Dear Team PHL and PNE,
The numbers are in and we're excited to share the 2024 Annual Report. It highlights the significant strides we’re making at PHL and PNE. We continue to enhance airport operations and prepare for a bright future and key events to come in 2025 and 2026.
All employees played a role in the success our airports experienced last year. Among the key highlights featured in our 2024 Annual Report are:
- 30.9 million passengers in 2024
- 130 non-stop destinations with new routes to Europe, the Caribbean and Central America
- More than a dozen awards across concessions, capital projects, sustainability and guest experiences
Learn more by attending a Spring Employee Engagement Roadshow session which are underway. Get an update on where we are with our strategic plan for 2026. Vote for the area you think the Department is making the most progress, ask questions and share ideas. You can also learn about the new Employee Engagement Committee and other employee groups and resources. Every employee should work with their manager to find a session to attend. Thank you for all that you do to support PHL and PNE every day. Together we’re proudly connecting Philadelphia with the world.

Information Security: Data Privacy
Data Privacy and Data Protection: Why They Matter More Than Ever
In the digital age, data is often referred to as the "new oil." Just as oil fueled the industrial revolution, data powers our current digital transformation—driving business innovation, improving services, and shaping how organizations interact with individuals. However, with great data comes great responsibility. That’s where data privacy and data protection step in, two pillars that are critical to safeguarding individual rights and organizational integrity in a hyper-connected world.
What Is Data Privacy?
Data privacy refers to the rights and expectations individuals have regarding how their personal information is collected, stored, shared, and used. It centers on ensuring that individuals maintain control over their data and are informed about who accesses it and why. This includes sensitive details like names, addresses, Social Security numbers, health records, financial data, and even digital footprints like search histories and GPS locations. Read more here.
