Since 120 based aircraft and several commercial tenants call PNE home as well as the daily transient users, it is imperative to keep the airport open during winter snow and ice events.

PHILADELPHIA– The year-end totals are in and the City of Philadelphia Department of Aviation reports growth at both of Philadelphia’s airports, Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Northeast Philadelphia Airport (PNE).  PHL welcomed more than 28.1 million passengers during calendar year 2023 -- an increase of 12.6 percent over 2022.
