The Department of Aviation’s Office of Business Diversity and Purchasing Administration Unit recently collaborated to host the “Change Your Altitude: Airport ESG Workshop”, focusing on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) opportunities at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Northeast Philadelphia Airport (PNE).
As part of its ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment, Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) conducted two Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walks during the first two weeks of June, on the airfield at Terminals D and E.
To celebrate the people of PHL, the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) held a pep rally and award ceremony for the launch of PHL WORKS, a program to promote service excellence among its 16,800 badged employees. The program aims to bring together representatives from all operating partners to provide a unified experience for passengers. The initiative is led by the Guest Experience Stakeholder Council and will be incorporated into new hire training and provide resources for managers.
