At Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), there are 111 passenger boarding bridges (PBBs), which facilitate the movement of passengers from terminal to aircraft.  In 2010, a program was established to upgrade and replace the PBBs and ancillary equipment.

What is your current position, responsibilities and duties at PHL and how long have you worked here?

One hundred coats of all sizes and appropriate for all ages were collected and distributed, along with hats, gloves and scarves to individuals in West Philadelphia who were without the outerwear to keep them warm through winter thanks to the efforts of a long-time Supervisory Transportation Security officer at Philadelphia International Airport.

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) has been engaged in a major undertaking to replace and enhance the roofs of the terminal complex on the airport's Departures side, stretching from Terminal A-East to Terminal E. Work began earlier this year and is expected to be substantially completed by the end of December with final items of work and closeout by March 2021.
