PHL Opens New Restrooms in Terminal A East Baggage Claim – The First of Many for Phase 5 of its Restroom Renovation Program

City of Philadelphia and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) officials opened a new 1,900-square foot restroom set, located in the baggage claim area of Terminal A East. City of Philadelphia Chief of Staff Tiffany Thurman was on hand to cut the ribbon on March 3.

PHL’s 2024 Passenger Volume Surpasses 30 Million

PHILADELPHIA– Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) welcomed almost 30.9 million passengers in 2024 — an increase of almost 10 percent over 2023 and the most guests who have passed through the airport’s terminals since its record year of 2019.  Over 3.8 million of those passengers traveled to and from international destinations.
